For years now, skywriting has been known as a form of advertising. This rooted from the fascination of the display from jet planes which emit smoke that would create an array of writings in the sky. From being a favorite past time, skywriting has become more than just a display of entertainment. Skywriting has stamped its name in the advertising industry.

Outdoor events like air shows, holidays escapades, announcement of upcoming seasons such as summer and spring and the like have paved way for the display of aerial advertising through skywriting. This type of advertising uses a special aircraft with a professionally skilled pilot that equates to a fantastic display of advertising above ground level.

If you are wondering how much the total cost is of having to get your message across the horizon, then it would be best for you to look around for competitive rates as the prices actually range depending on the different factors involved. Also, you would want to take a look at the technical skills of the pilot and the crew that the companies hire and of course, the aircraft that they will be using, as well as other expenses.

A lot of advertisers have taken the risk of investing in to something as showy as aerial advertising, hence, skywriting. This is for the reason that the ability of people to recall information from these aerial messages is more likely than any print or television ads. This has by far caught the attention of today’s advertising companies since people are in the market for something that definitely stands out from the rest.

The method of skywriting or skytyping specifically caters to those people in a more open field where the messages are easily seen. Puffs of air, made from biodegradable substances in order to abide by environmental standards, are used by the jet to display the message which will be written in just a few seconds. These messages which may be as big as buildings usually last in the air for as long as 8 minutes.

Investing in this sort of advertising would be worth it since it is somewhat cheap as compared to other methods of media advertisement. A TV commercial would only last for about 30 seconds while a skywriting message would be for more than 5 minutes. I bet you would be dismissing it easily rather than ponder on its content. A large message written in the sky viewed by a lot of people would definitely work.

Skywriting is just one among the aerial methods that catches the attention of a larger audience since the demographics is more random and wider compared to people watching TV, listening to the radio, or strolling down the malls.

This is something hip and new and a lot of people are gladly receiving it. People are recognizing and appreciating its sense of advertising and more investors are trying it out since it is cost effective and covers a wider range of audience than most advertisements would.

Has something like a short message written across the sky caught your attention lately? This technique is called Skywriting. This is one of the latest techniques in advertising that definitely calls the attention of huge crowds and passers by amidst all the other forms of media found everywhere.
